Fort Worth Housing Prime for Texas-Sized Boom

By: Richard Soto1

In addition, due largely to the job growth coming in some of the highest-paying sectors of the employment market, upscale neighborhoods such as Highland Park and Coppell continue to prosper.

Discover the Wonder of Highland Park

The community of Highland Park is one of the most beautiful and exclusive neighborhoods in the Dallas area. Highland Park real estate offers stately mansions and manors set upon acres of lush property. Tree-lined streets wind through this wondrous and majestic neighborhood.

Despite the difficult beginnings of Highland Park – the original settlers in the area were brutally attacked by a band of Caddo Indians, leaving the survivors to rebuild in the rubble – Highland Park has flourished into a beautiful and highly desirable community.

Growth Continues in Coppell

The Coppell real estate market remains strong in nearly all sectors, as residential sales remain relatively strong and commercial growth is flourishing.

The proximity of Coppell to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and downtown Dallas make it a prime neighborhood for families moving into the area with the influx of new jobs. Coppell is a wonderful place to raise a family, bolstered by its award winning school districts and abundance of open spaces.

Growth in industrial leasing and the expansion of tech companies into the North Dallas area have allowed Coppell to remain strong in the real estate market.

Irving Experiencing a Commercial Boon

Irving real estate recently received a major boost to the real estate sector with the announcement that Pioneer Natural Resources is expanding its office space to nearly 300,000 square feet, occupying 12 floors of the Williams Square complex. This is one of the largest lease agreements made in the Irving area in recent history. The expansion officially elevates the oil and gas firm to the status of largest tenant in the area. The expansion will add 70,000 square feet to their already expansive operation.

In addition to the massive expansion by Pioneer Natural Resources, The Hayman Company announced it has acquired the Union Bower Business Park, near the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

The company wishes to expand their portfolio with properties that will add value in the coming years. The acquisition of the business park, a distribution complex that exceeds 300,000 square feet in Irving, is seen as a valuable addition to the company’s already expansive real estate holdings.

With the continued growth of the job market in the North Dallas region, the expansion of distribution and industrial businesses, and the overall strength of the housing market, all of the neighborhoods in the greater Dallas Metroplex area are expected to prosper in coming years.

The expansion of major tech companies into the area have only added to the prosperity of these neighborhoods, with Coppell and Highland Park offering amazing opportunities to families who are new to the area. The continuation of industrial growth in Coppell, Irving, and other adjacent areas will ensure the continued economic prosperity of North Dallas for years to come.
